JOB SUMMARY:

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

We are seeking a Body & Interior Design Engineer to join our innovative team!

  • Designing vehicles within the ‘blue light’ sector as part of the design engineering team.
  • Utilize SolidWorks to create accurate 3D models.
  • Converting the 3D models into technical drawings suitable for tendering, manufacturing & supply processes.
  • Design to the relevant regulations such as Type Approval, BS EN1789:2020, IVA requirements etc.
  • Create engineering release documents supporting BOM, Procurement & Production
  • Work across multiple projects and provide support to colleagues when required.
  • Other duties as required by the business.

Attributes, Skills & Experience:

  • Working experience of SolidWorks. Formal qualification preferable.
  • Technical qualification in a suitable discipline.
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment or CAD office.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Flexible hours office based Monday-Thursday with WFH on Fridays. This is based on 40 hours per week.
